A trope to undermine Christianity?!?

Nope.

It is historical fact.

You know what does undermines Christianity?

Writers attempting to rewrite history because they don’t think their religion can withstand the rigors of historical understanding. Writers who reduce the depth and pagan rituals as nothing more than empty drunken foolishness. No where in the Bible (which I have read many times over) does it say one should mock and belittle other faiths.

This piece is an embarrassment for anyone professes who professes to believe in and love Jesus and the Christmas story.
