i am like, we are

like angels with broken limbs

we can still fly while broken

we are still and always holy

even while broken

denying we are broken is

a sin against our realities

denying we are broken is

a sin against our own souls

we are broken angels

still holy

still scared

still worthy of unconditional kindness

and still able to fly
