I feel this so deeply.
My all time safest safe food was sourdough toast with butter ... Then I was diagnosed with celiac disease and had to give it up.
It's been nearly 11.5 yrs and I still grieve that loss.
If I'm at Trader Joe's in a particularly down mood I have to really talk myself down from buying a loaf of sourdough bread, even knowing the gluten will take literal years off my life, I really need that bread.
