I am drowning in the murky, cloudy fluid of my own expressing

Drowning is a quiet,
desperate thing.
― Brenna Twohy
i am drowning
and no one seems to notice…
well, i will admit to being exceedingly
skilled at hiding my distress…
a lifetime of trauma and danger
have taught me to hide myself….

this is me, a
jellyfish. Something
without a spine
without any rights?
oh dear god…
why is life so dangerous?
why do i exist, if only to be used as a fucking latex vagina?…
…
tonight,
I’m done,
I’m over
trying to fight within the
confines of your narrative.
