I had a phone visit with my primary care doctor — to discuss a patch of skin that has changed.

It was odd.

But, then again, pretty everything is odd under Covid-19.

So, after discussing symptoms and concerns, it was decided that I would take pictures and send them via email to the doctor, who will then look at them and decide if they are concerning enough to warrant the risk of an in-person visit.

I’m not complaining about this cautious approach. I’m more noticing how different things are this year, and likely into the unknown future too.

Well, I sent the pictures.

If I go in I’ll probably wear two masks and wash my hands too many times.

And, if all goes well, this funny, concerning little spot is nothing serious.
