The two examples you give screenshots from are shocking! And, then again, maybe I shouldn’t be so shockable at my age :/

I went back to finish my BA in my early 40’s and in my class had one of those dreaded team projects. One of our team members literally copy and pasted their section of the paper from WikiPedia. I was shocked, but much more so by a teammate who didn’t want to ‘get them in trouble’ by reporting it. I was double majoring in Psychology and Creative Nonfiction with an eye to crafting a writing career and there was no way I was going to have my name attached to something I knew to be fraudulent. It was so damn stressful.
