My mother’s ongoing abuse and neglect throughout my childhood more than likely what made me chronically ill.

And that blows my mind because it feels so fucking unfair.

That here I am, 50 years old, living my healthiest life, eating 80–90% whole foods made from scratch, practicing gratitude and mindfulness, drinking enough water, going to therapy, etc., and the best I can likely hope for is to halt the progression of my illnesses.

Like, why does she get the final say?!?

It isn’t fair and it pisses me off.
